Resistive load banks for generators

They allow to carry out generator load tests in emergency to the network without the need for power interruptions on the connected users.

Normally the generator run test is performed with very low loads, in some cases completely no load.

This type of test in fact generates in the long run a mechanical and performance degradation of the engine itself.

Selection of loads

The load steps (KW) are entered manually by the operator.

The insertions of the load steps are carried out by means of luminous ON-OFF selectors.

IThe load bench is also equipped with a network analyzer that can be interfaced to the PC with the possibility of exporting the electrical measurements recorded during the entire test.

The bench provides protection against over temperature and the cylindrical sense of phase rotation.

Integrated control desk

Made of steel sheet carpentry with thermosetting powder coating in gray RAL 7035.

Integrated into a single bench structure


- Lectern version (OPTIONAL ON REQUEST) equipped with 4 swiveling wheels, two of which can be braked.

Made of steel sheet metalwork with thermosetting powder paint in textured RAL 7035 gray color (or according to customer specifications), guaranteeing the best results in terms of resistance to atmospheric agents, scratches and fingerprints.

Resistive bank characteristics

Prepared for mounting integral with the control desk or alternatively separate (on request) and connected to it with special quick-connect connection cables.

Metal box, IP20 protection degree containing: (forced ventilation),

Variable number of resistors according to the total power (KW) and the required load steps.

For forced ventilation, the cover panels of the ventilation section are grilled with IP20 protection
